M. Eng Patrycja Wysocka

Ph.D student on Adam Mickiewicz University – Interdisciplinary Environmental Life Science (ELS) Ph.D. Program realized by Faculty of Geographical and Geological Sciences together with Faculty of Biology.

The Research is carried out in Department of Geoecology (Institute of Geoecology and Geo-Information AMU) with support of two supervisors: Prof. AMU dr hab. Alfred Stach and Prof. dr Piotr Jankowski (San Diego State University).

Before becoming a doctoral student, Patrycja Wysocka gain professional experience related to municipal waste management. She was an intern with the Department for Environmental Protection at Poznań City Council.She also worked as a junior waste management specialist

at a private consulting firm.

Students

The project offers hands-on research opportunities for students of the Faculty of Geographical and Geological Sciences at AMU who participate in field research. The initial results of their research were presented during the Festival of Culture and Science (spring 2014).
